2. Where does your products come from?

TeaTune products is sourced from the pristine high-altitude tea gardens of Mount Fanjing, Guizhou, China. The unique low-latitude, misty, and low-sunlight conditions help produce EU-compliant premium-quality matcha.

3. Is there sugar or flavouring added to your matcha?

All TEATUNE matcha products are made with 100% pure matcha powder – no sugar, flavourings, or preservatives added.

4. How is your matcha classified?

Inspired by ancient Chinese musical scales, our matcha is classified into: Ceremonial Grade, Beverage Grade, and Culinary Grade.

5. Are your products certified organic?

Some products, like our Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha, are certified organic in China, Japan, and the US. Additional certifications are in progress; please refer to the product label for details.

6. Does matcha contain caffeine? Will it affect sleep?

Yes, but in moderate amounts (approx. 45mg per 1.5g). It also contains L-theanine, which promotes calm focus and reduces the risk of jitteriness.

7. How much matcha can I consume daily?

The EFSA recommends no more than 400mg caffeine daily for adults and 200mg for pregnant women. Adjust intake based on your individual sensitivity.

8. How do I prepare matcha? Do I need traditional tools?

No special tools needed. Simply whisk matcha with milk or chilled coconut water using a frother or shake it in a bottle. For a traditional experience, use a bamboo whisk (chasen).

9. Can your matcha be used for making desserts or drinks?

Absolutely. Our Beverage and Culinary Grade Matcha are ideal for matcha lattes, truffles, snowflake nougat, and more.

10. Can pregnant or breastfeeding women drink matcha?

We recommend consulting your doctor. Moderate intake is generally safe, but caffeine levels should be monitored.

11. Why does matcha clump?

Due to its ultra-fine texture, matcha tends to clump from static. Simply sift or whisk before use.

12. What is the shelf life and how should I store it?

Unopened products last up to 12 months. Once opened, keep sealed and refrigerated; consume within 30 days for best quality.

13. Is your packaging eco-friendly?
