The colour is a clean, bright green (not dull or yellowish), the aroma is fresh and gentle. On the palate it’s smooth and creamy when whisked properly, without that harsh bitterness or “scratchy” feeling at the back of the throat. After drinking, got a nice calm and clear feeling, just what I expect from a good ceremonial matcha.

As someone who has tried quite a few teas over the years, I find the price very reasonable for this quality. For home tea time or a quiet self-care moment, this is a matcha I’m happy to keep buying.

Followed their FB video to make a simple morning matcha latte, and it turned out very smooth and easy to drink. The colour is a nice bright green, blends well with milk, and the taste is balanced – not too bitter, not too sweet. Paired it with my usual bread for breakfast and it felt quite “atas” but still homely.

For the quality and how many cups I can get out of the set, the price is actually quite reasonable, especially with discount. I think next time got promo again, I’ll definitely stock up a bit more for my weekday breakfast routine.
